First year results and strategic developments

01 June 2023 The company began its work by bringing together the best teams from various international legal firms under a new brand. Today, looking back at our company's first year of work, we can say with confidence that we have achieved all the goals we set for this year – we have formed a large team that works smoothly and effectively, enabling us to provide clients with high-quality legal services, to maintain existing new client relationships and build new ones.

We are all keeping a close eye on rapidly changing world events. Even in these new economic circumstances, our clients continue to refine and expand their businesses in various jurisdictions outside of Russia, which encourages us to follow suit and extend the geographic footprint of our business.

To implement this strategy, effective 1 June 2023 Managing Partner Victoria Bortkevicha will be appointed as Global Managing Partner, with Alexander Anichkin picking up the reins as Managing Partner of the Moscow office.

Commenting on the company's new phase of strategic development, Ms Bortkevicha had the following to say: "We have decided to develop the global infrastructure of our business abroad. As the company's global managing partner, I will head up this aspect of the firm's work. In this way, the Moscow office will become a part of the company's overall infrastructure".

Alexander Anichkin, the Managing Partner of the Moscow office, also commented on his appointment: "The last year has shown that, despite our highly challenging jumping-off point, we have built a solid foundation for providing first-rate professional legal support to our clients in all key areas of business. Our main task now is to continue developing our product line for the Russian and international markets, so that we will always offer a Better Chance for our clients".
